DETAILS:
MJ’s Restaurant is part of the Catering School at Brockenhurst College and it has long been on our list of places to visit and always been very popular.
Following last year's most enjoyable lunch, we have booked again for this year for Friday 26th Jan 2024.
Although we have booked the whole restaurant, places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Wives and partners are welcome.
Please arrive by 12:00 for drinks – lunch will be served at 12:30.
The menu for the lunch is -
Starter
A - Cream of potato & watercress soup (GF V)
B - Fish cake with tartare sauce & green salad
C - Baked Portobello mushroom with haggis, spinach, swede & a whisky sauce (GF)
Main Course
A - Grilled fillet of bass with kale, sauté potatoes & a white wine sauce (GF)
B - Braised beef Bourguignonne with minted new potatoes (GF)
C - Pan fried lamb’s kidneys, with a Dijon mustard cream sauce & braised rice (GF)
D - Thai vegetable curry with coconut rice (GF V)
Vegetables served with all main courses
Dessert
A - Rice pudding with apple fritters & apricot sauce (GF V)
B - Baked Alaska with blueberries (GF V)
C - Strawberry mille feuille (V)
D - Chocolate cup of cappuccino mousse (GF)
E - Key lime pie & white chocolate sauce (V)
