How do you get an army across the English Channel and into France when your enemy is well armed, well trained and expecting you?
The focus of The D-Day Story is the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany occupation. It is told using the personal possessions and words of the people who took part.
Stunning imagery, audio-visual presentations, authentic vehicles and hands-on interactives help to bring the story to life.
Date – Wednesday 19th February 2025 at 11.00 ( Visit usually takes 2 hours).
Location : Clarence Esplanade, Portsmouth, PO5 3NT
Cost – £12.70 per person.
Parking – Clarence Esplanade (up until Blue Reef Aquarium) and The D-Day Story car park are both still open during the latest Southsea Coastal Scheme works.
