Find out how crews and lifeguards are trained with a behind the scenes tour of the RNLI College.
During our 90 minute guided tour, we will be given the chance to explore the RNLI College and its training facilities, including their world-class Sea Survival centre, which hosts the wave tank and Lifeboat simulator (subject to availability).
Each tour is conducted by a dedicated volunteer tour guide, providing a passionate and insightful look at the work done at the College.
We can book a private room for a meal beforehand (Chef’s Choice of the day – Main Course and Dessert) at a cost of £12:00 pp (minimum 20 people). Please add ‘Y’ after your surname if you would like to eat in the private dining room. I will collate numbers and advise if the private Dining Room is feasible.
Alternatively there are cafe and restaurant options on site.
We will meet for our visit at 1:50 pm by reception. You will need to register with reception before the tour starts. Tours start from the main College reception.
There is limited parking on-site but there are local pay and display car parks are within walking distance of the College.
The price of the Tour is £7.50 per person.
