It’s fair to say the need to split this event into two because of its popularity augured well for it’s success.
Two groups of wannabee snooker players descended on the Dennison Snooker Hall and set about demonstrating that this was a game for which they had no aptitude at all!
As ever, there were exceptions in the shape of the odd hustler who turned up with his own cue and we were duly impressed.
At the end of the lengthy first frame, we were served the most excellent fish and chips from the Bransgore Chippy (on china plates, no less) which were washed down with our beverage of choice.
Another session of snooker followed in much the same vein as the first with no noticeable change in skill levels!
Truly excellent evenings in great company and our grateful thanks go to Stephen and Ruth for all of their hard work in staging the two events for us.
